Enthralled-web. scroller

We are 19north’s Ladies’ Ministry, Enthralled, and we exist to rescue and impact this generation of ladies with eternal truth. You can join us the last Friday of every month at Victory Family Church, as we seek to know our God and know who He’s called us to be. Every month will look different and have its own purpose, but it will be something you look forward to each month! We are ambitious about tearing down walls of icky girl issues (insecurity, gossip, image, jealousy, etc.), and we will stop at nothing to see this generation set free and walking in their destiny. Our name comes from Psalm 45:10-11. God is enthralled by the beauty of a woman and calls her His beloved. He wildly pursues her heart with romance and intimacy to make her His beautiful bride. Our Core Values:

  • Beauty – (1 Peter 3:3-4) To know that we are accepted, loved, desired, and flawless in His sight; to be found confident in who we are.
  • Truth – (John 8:31-32) To cling to truth and become a free daughter.
  • Purity – (1 Peter 1:13-16) To have purity in mind and display; to live a life of integrity while guarding our hearts.
  • Love – (John 12:3) Our simple devotion toward Jesus is a sweet aroma that affects everything—the way we live, give, and serve reflects love. We are forming sisterhood and friendships that will change us and the world forever!
  • Purpose – (Phil. 3:13-14) We have been predestined and fashioned in the womb, and we are anointed for good works; God has given each of us a specific calling to fulfill.

Our heart is to dig deep into Truth and the heart of God, and allow it to penetrate our hearts and minds with love, beauty, and freedom. We were made to be seen and known and loved deeply, and it’s okay to want what you were made for. We want every lady to know that they are “deeply known & completely loved.” If you have any questions, or if you’re coming for the first time and would like to have someone show you around, please feel free to email Danielle Martin at danielle@19north.tv. We can’t wait to meet you and spend time with you! PS: Click here to connect with us on our Facebook Page

Water Baptism (September 24)

WaterBaptismWeb Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?” Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down to the water and he baptized him (Acts 8:36-38).

  • Have you ever asked, “What is the requirement for me to be water baptized?” If you have, you’re not alone. This man asked the very same question. The only requirement the Bible gives for you to be water baptized is that you “believe with all your heart.” If you’ve made Jesus the Lord of your life, and want to express it to everyone at 19north through water baptism, water baptism is your first step. We’ll let you know when we schedule our next baptism right here!

Personal Evangelism Notes (via David Faulk)

Here are David’s notes from last night! If you didn’t have a chance to make it, make sure you get the Podcast… this was one of the most practical, helpful messages I’ve ever heard on impacting people’s lives. Thanks, David! (Zack)
PERSONAL EVANGELISM

John 20:21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”

Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Mathew 9:35 Then Jesus began traveling through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every illness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he was deeply moved with compassion for them, because they were troubled and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is vast, but the workers are few. 38 So ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.”

Compassion – A suffering with another; painful sympathy; Compassion is a mixed passion, compounded of love andsorrow.

John 13:34 I am giving you a new commandment to love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. 35 This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
C.S. Lewis wrote – “Think of me as a fellow patient in the same hospital who, having been admitted a little earlier, could give some advice.”

2Corinthians 6:14-17 Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what portion hath a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement hath a temple of God with idols? For we are a temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you,

Luke 5:29-32 And Levi made him a great feast in his house: and there was a great multitude of publicans and of others that were sitting at meat with them. 30 And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured against his disciples, saying, why do ye eat and drink with the publicans and sinners? 31 And Jesus answering said unto them, they that are in health have no need of a physician; but they that are sick. 32 I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.

SEVEN PRINCIPLES FOR ACTION

I. CONTACT PEOPLE SOCIALLY
II. ESTABLISH A COMMON INTEREST

III. AROUSE SPIRITUAL INTEREST

IV. DON’T GO TOO FAR, TOO FAST

V. DON’T CONDEMN

VI. STICK WITH THE MAIN ISSUE

VII. CONFRONT DIRECTLY

Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

John 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—

Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

1John 5:12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

Aggressive Altar Calls MP3

Hey guys! I just wanted to pass this on, as it’s something I listen to several times per year to help me with “doing the work of an evangelist” as Paul told Timothy. At the end of each message, and especially during this upcoming season, I’ll be taking the principles from this teaching and being extremely aggressive in order to make sure people are right with God.

Whether you’re called to ministry or not, this teaching is phenomenal in leading someone to the Lord. Hope this helps!
