Faith Moves Forward | by Sarah Weaver

To live by faith there must be movement…stagnant faith is not an option.

Have you ever heard the term, “the walk of faith?” Meaning precisely what it says, “walk.” Walking is not standing and staying in the same place, it’s movement, forward and not in reverse.

Look at examples of people of faith in the Bible it’s easy to see that they all had something in common…action! There was not one act of faith that wasn’t a step out of the ordinary. But these steps out of the ordinary were always followed by the extraordinary. (Read Hebrews 11)

So maybe there’s something God is tugging at your heart to do, but it seems too big, or expensive, or out of your “comfort zone.” When God is leading you to do something there’s always grace. What does that mean? It’s like God giving us His ability. When He prompts us He’s saying to our heart, “take the step and I’ll help you accomplish more than you could on your own, I’ll provide the finances and I’ll give you boldness and strength.”
