God thinks about you….all the time.

Why does this statement seems so unrealistic? Maybe it’s because we don’t always think about Him. Our minds are so often filled with what we don’t have and where we are and where we aren’t- the list could go on.

Maybe we could understand how consumed God is with us if we understood this in the light of what consumes our own minds. That thing that constantly invades your mind and never leaves, that’s how much God thinks about us and more.

Psalms 139:17-18 says,

“How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up,
you are still with me!”

The Hebrew word for precious in this particular passage means, “to be heavy.” The thoughts that God has of us are heavy on his mind.

Um, Wow!
