What is Truth? 5 of 6: The Problem is the Church

Whenever we have an argument, it’s to prove that our point is true; an argument of “relative truth” is not exempt.
Here’s a stumping question… Why is there so much argument about creation being a true event? Because it’s either true or it isn’t.
Evolutionists, please understand that no person can tell us exactly what happened 17 billion years ago.
Christians, please understand that no person can prove by taking any amount of information that God exists. If that were true, God would have stated, “A scientist by the name of John Dalton is going to formulate the modern version of the atmoic theory…”
The Bible never reveals the deepest secrets of creation – it wasn’t written so we may have all the facts – it was written so we could have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The reason that people don’t believe that the Bible is Truth is not that a scientists have “proven” otherwise, but because the people that embrace that the Bible is Truth never really incorporate what the words are truly saying into his or her everyday life.
If we are really living a life with the ideals of Truth first, then our lives will cause people to ask questions. If we embrace the Bible and hate people, it makes room for questions on the other front. If we read to love our wives as Christ loved the church and don’t answer the phone when our wife calls, which is why I’m stopping this blog, what does that teach about the Truth in marriage?
What type of questions do people ask about your life?
